Pilatus engage in active protection of the environment by way of a number of processes that are in place at the factory in Stans. For example, since 2014 Pilatus has sourced its entire electricity requirement from hydroelectric plants in neighbouring Canton Nidwalden. Pilatus is certified under ISO 14001 in recognition of its environment-friendly management system and corporate philosophy.
