An Important Update for Pilots
This is an important update for any pilots booked to fly in to Private Flyer Fest this week.
Rain has significantly reduced the amount of aircraft we can accommodate due to flooding of the aircraft parking and manoeuvring areas. All pilots must obtain a briefing PPR on +353872563070 before setting out for Ballyboy even if an arrival slot has been booked.
Unfortunately due to the conditions and continuing poor forecast, the airfield will be closed for all arrivals on Saturday April 6.
If you have booked to fly-in and now want to arrive by car your fly-in reservation entitles you to free access to the event. Parking is available at nearby Causey Farm (C15 P83R) and we will be operating a regular Park & Ride service to take you the 5 minutes to the venue. Gate staff will have your details but we recommend bringing a copy of your booking confirmation email if you can.
